Once you have entered phone numbers with speed dial, simply do the following to dial those speed dial numbers. To call a speed dial number, use the dial pad to enter the speed dial index followed by the # key, and then press Dial Buttonor pick up the handset to place a call.<\/p>\n<p>Access the Speed Dial list by pressing <strong>Menu<\/strong> button, then select <strong>Features, Speed Dial<\/strong>, or press <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-717\" src=\"https:\/\/www.fastmetrics.com\/support\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2014\/06\/polycom-up.png\" alt=\"Up Arrow\" width=\"18\" height=\"18\" \/> from the idle screen.<\/p>\n<p>When a new entry is added to the Contact Directory, it is automatically assigned the next available speed dial index and the new entry appears at the bottom of the Speed Dial list.<\/p>\n<p><strong>To add or edit a speed dial index for an existing contact:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Press the <strong>Dir<\/strong> soft key.<\/li>\n<li>Use <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-717\" src=\"https:\/\/www.fastmetrics.com\/support\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2014\/06\/polycom-up.png\" alt=\"Up Arrow\" width=\"18\" height=\"18\" \/> and <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-719\" src=\"https:\/\/www.fastmetrics.com\/support\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2014\/06\/polycom-down.png\" alt=\"Down Arrow\" width=\"18\" height=\"18\" \/> to scroll through the list to find the contact.<\/li>\n<li>Press the <strong>Edit<\/strong> soft key.<\/li>\n<li>Press <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-719\" src=\"https:\/\/www.fastmetrics.com\/support\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2014\/06\/polycom-down.png\" alt=\"Down Arrow\" width=\"18\" height=\"18\" \/> repeatedly until the speed dial index appears.<\/li>\n<li>Press <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-730\" src=\"https:\/\/www.fastmetrics.com\/support\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2014\/06\/polycom-select.png\" alt=\"Select Key\" width=\"18\" height=\"18\" \/> to select the speed dial index for edit.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Do one of the following steps: <\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Enter the next available speed dial index.<\/li>\n<li>Delete the existing speed dial index by using the <strong>Backspace<\/strong> soft key, and then enter a new speed dial index.<\/li>\n<li>Press the <strong>Ok<\/strong> or <strong>Cancel<\/strong> soft keys to accept or cancel changes.<\/li>\n<li>Press <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-720\" src=\"https:\/\/www.fastmetrics.com\/support\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2014\/06\/polycom-left.png\" alt=\"Left Arrow\" width=\"18\" height=\"18\" \/> repeatedly to return to the idle display.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div class=\"content-bloc\"><strong>To assign a new speed dial index:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Press the <strong>Dir<\/strong> soft key.<\/li>\n<li>Use <img loading=\"lazy\"
