You can select different rings to distinguish between lines or to have a different ring from your neighbor\u2019s phone.<\/p>\n<p><strong>To change the incoming ring:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Press <strong>Menu<\/strong> button.<\/li>\n<li>Select <strong>Settings<\/strong> followed by <strong>Basic, Ring Type<\/strong>.<br \/>\n<em>Optional &#8211; If multiple lines are used, first select which line to change.<\/em><\/li>\n<li>Using the arrow keys, highlight the desired ring type.<\/li>\n<li>Press the <strong>Play<\/strong> soft key to hear the selected ring type.<\/li>\n<li>Press <strong>Select<\/strong> to change to the selected ring type.<\/li>\n<li>Press <strong>Menu<\/strong> button or the <strong>Exit<\/strong> soft key to return to the idle display.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If Silent Ring is selected, incoming calls can only be answered by pressing the Answer soft key.
