This is especially useful for regular headset users.<\/p>\n<p><strong>To do this:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Press <strong>Menu<\/strong> button.<\/li>\n<li>Select <strong>Settings<\/strong> followed by <strong>Basic, Preferences, Headset Memory<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Use the <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-717\" src=\"https:\/\/www.fastmetrics.com\/support\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2014\/06\/polycom-up.png\" alt=\"Up Arrow\" width=\"18\" height=\"18\" \/> or <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-719\" src=\"https:\/\/www.fastmetrics.com\/support\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2014\/06\/polycom-down.png\" alt=\"Down Arrow\" width=\"18\" height=\"18\" \/> arrows and <strong>Select<\/strong> <a class=\"zem_slink\" title=\"Soft key\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Soft_key\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"wikipedia noopener noreferrer\">soft key<\/a> to enable Headset Memory Mode.<\/li>\n<li>Press <strong>Menu<\/strong> button to return to the main menu.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Repeat steps 1 to 4 to select <strong>Disabled<\/strong> and turn Headset Memory Mode off.<\/p>\n<p><strong>You can also activate Headset Memory Mode as follows:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Press <strong>Headset<\/strong> button twice.<br \/>\nThe flashing headset icon on the graphic display or a flashing headset key indicates that the headset mode is activated.<\/li>\n<li>Pressing <strong>Line Key<\/strong> button or <strong>Answer<\/strong> soft key to receive a call will now connect to your headset automatically.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-769\" src=\"https:\/\/www.fastmetrics.com\/support\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2014\/06\/650-headset-memory.png\" alt=\"Polycom SoundPoint 650 Headset memory Mode\" width=\"240\" height=\"135\" \/><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>As an option on your Polycom SoundPoint 650 phone, your\u00a0headset can be permanently enabled.
