{"id":1555,"date":"2016-08-25T14:14:05","date_gmt":"2016-08-25T14:14:05","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.fastmetrics.com\/support\/?p=1555"},"modified":"2020-10-16T09:45:48","modified_gmt":"2020-10-16T09:45:48","slug":"transferring-voicemail-another-user","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.fastmetrics.com\/support\/transferring-voicemail-another-user\/","title":{"rendered":"Transferring a Voicemail to Another User"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>When you have a voice message that you need to send to someone else in your office you can forward that voicemail to that user.<\/p>\n<p><em>Note: this is much faster if you do it over the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fastmetrics.com\/support\/metricphone-admin-web-log\/\">metricPHONE web interface<\/a>.<\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Pick up your handset and press Messages<\/li>\n<li>When prompted enter your PIN followed by #<\/li>\n<li>Press 1 to listen to new messages or 2 if is a saved message.<\/li>\n<li>Press 3 \u201cTo Forward\u201d when the message you want to forward plays ( you do not have to wait for the message to stop playing)<\/li>\n<li>Press 1 to send to an individual.<\/li>\n<li>Record a greeting followed by the # key  so the person receiving the message knows it is a forwarded message (this step cannot be skipped)<\/li>\n<li>The greeting you just record will play followed by the message.<\/li>\n<li>Press 2 to confirm ( you dot have to wait for the greeting to stop playing)<\/li>\n<li>Enter the extension number you wish to forward the message to.<\/li>\n<li>You will now hear the extension number or the recorded name<\/li>\n<li>Press 2 to send.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>When you have a voice message that you need to send to someone else in your office you can forward that voicemail to that user.
