This is different than contacts &#8211; which allow you to make calls from a personal phone list.<\/p>\n<p>The status of your buddies is displayed and updated in real time. Your phone canbe \u201cwatched\u201d by up to 8 other phones.<\/p>\n<p><strong>To view and change your presence settings:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Press <strong>Menu<\/strong> Button.<\/li>\n<li>Select <strong>Features<\/strong>, then <strong>Presence, My Status<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Use <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-717\" src=\"https:\/\/www.fastmetrics.com\/support\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2014\/06\/polycom-up.png\" alt=\"Up Arrow\" width=\"18\" height=\"18\" \/> and <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-719\" src=\"https:\/\/www.fastmetrics.com\/support\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2014\/06\/polycom-down.png\" alt=\"Down Arrow\" width=\"18\" height=\"18\" \/> to scroll through the list.<\/li>\n<li>Press <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-730\" src=\"https:\/\/www.fastmetrics.com\/support\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2014\/06\/polycom-select.png\" alt=\"Select Key\" width=\"18\" height=\"18\" \/> to select your new status.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>This affects information sent to phones watching you. When Watch Buddy is disabled, the contact is removed from your buddy list. When Block Buddy is disabled, the contact can watch your phone.
